Apple to launch Airpods and mini LED MacBook Pros in 2021

Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that Apple will bring two new MacBook Pro laptops next year. These new devices will feature a new design, be powered by Apple Silicon chips, and have mini-LED displays.Ming-Chi Kuo believes that things will move well for Apple and its supplier.

The MacBook Air along with a re-designed MacBook Pro, will be the first from the MacBook family to adopt the new display technology.Mini LED works similarly like LCD but it is much smaller.Experts will see Mini LED as the next biggest reach in display technology.

Apple is planning to launch the redesigned MacBook models with its in-house silicon in the second half of 2021. Ming-Chi Kuo earlier speculated that Apple could bring refreshed Mac desktops. These may include the rumoured 24-inch iMac with a new design as well as a smaller version of the Mac Pro.

Apple sells MacBook Air with a 13-inch screen while its MacBook Pro comes with 14- and 16-inch displays. Ming-Chi Kuo is talking about design changes that might include changes in the display sizes, as well, but I am not sure about them.

The 2020 models of MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are not fundamentally different design-wise from their previous models but Apple did make a change. It removed the fan from the MacBook Air but retained it on the Pro model. This change is not a major one, and even if it was it does not impact the outer design of the MacBook Air, causing it to look the same way it used before.

Ming-Chi Kuo has said that the sales for AirPods are flat right now, which could increase further by 5 to 10 percent going into 2021.
