Google Photos has rolls out a new tools to make it easier for users to access features of Google Lens from inside their gallery.

The feature can be accessed by clicking the Lens icon that appears when you click on a single item in the Google Photos app.

With the tools integrated in Photos, you can tap on text selected by Lens, translate it, copy, Search, and transfer it to a Google-connected PC.

The new feature will have an new “Search inside this photo” section below the date and there is an small thumbnail with prompt to “Select text in image” and “Google Lens.”

Users can seen an four options includes Copy text, Search, Listen, and Translate. Tapping any will immediately launch Lens into that mode.

Google Makes It Easier to Access Lens Features in Photos App

The feature were first spotted by Android Police. The integration of Google Lens tools into the Google Photos app makes them more accessible.

The feature will be only available on Android and it’s available on the latest version of Photos (5.33). The feature may be server-side update as some of the users don’t have the functionality even after using the latest version of Google photos.
